Nico Hulkenberg’s Monaco Blog Our Test and Reserve driver, Nico Hulkenberg, gives us a quick update on his week so far in Monaco. Monaco on Grand Prix weekend is always a very special place to be. You just have to look around you to see why. Aside from the racing there is a lot of glamour, beautiful boats and exciting events. It’s definitely one of the top five races of the year. It’s also quite an unusual race because we have Friday off. That was when I took the chance to jump on my scooter and do some sightseeing around Monaco, which was a lot of fun. It’s such a cool place. I didn’t drive the car this weekend, but I’ve been listening to all the radio traffic and sitting in on the debriefs. We looked quite competitive on Thursday, but after qualifying we were a little bit disappointed – just a few tenths more and the guys could have squeezed into the top ten. But for the race anything can happen and so we could still come away with some points. My plan for the next week is quite busy. I’ll have a couple of days at home before I fly to the UK on Wednesday to get ready for our aero test on Thursday. Hopefully we can find some useful things to help get the most from our new aero package. I’ll be spending next weekend at home before I come back to the factory on the Tuesday for a simulator session to help the team prepare for Canada. Then, I’ll fly out to Montreal on Wednesday. So it’s a pretty hectic schedule. I’ll write my next update from Montreal. It’s another amazing city and a really fun weekend. I’ll be driving the car during Friday practice and that’s something I’m really looking forward to. Talk soon,Nico -------------------------------------------------------------- 以上是坑爹霍的摩纳哥坑爹流水账日志。差评好么!
