Goring Heath

Had a brilliant weekend with the babies at Goring Heath!
Violet did a lovely test for 34 pens (with only a couple of spooks), just one fence down (one big spook) and an absolutely stormer of a cross country round to come in under the time! 7th, not bad for a first timer!
As you would expect Wish lead the dressage on 28.1 pens (with a lot more to come) and a beautiful clear in the showjumping put us in a very strong position. Considering Wish had only been cross country schooling a handful of times and Goring was definately a very strong Prenovice (BE100) we decided to withdraw and wait until Larkhill next weekend.
No matter, we managed to make it to a lovely local hunter trial at Compton on Sunday, just a notch smaller and less technical than Goring and a much more friendly introduction to cross country!
