If it was only for sex, there are far cheaper alternatives that require far less maintenance and are about as good. There's a whole lot more to a doll. Companionship, role play and other fantasy, therapy, learning, art, etc. Some make a living off of them. What truly matters is personal and different for each owner. All I know is I don't want to go back. I've never been more fulfilled and satisfied. Can they do everything? No. But for me, they offer the most well-rounded lifestyle. Dolls are a part of my life for good now.
